Thomas E. FlawsAttorney
Attorney Thomas E. Flaws is a member of Mirick O’Connell’s personal injury litigation group, and his sole focus is on helping people and families who have suffered life-altering injuries. Tom handles a wide range of personal injury cases, including construction site accidents, motor vehicle accidents, drunk driving accidents, slip and falls, product liability claims, negligent security claims, and civil rights cases. Tom has resolved multiple cases for amounts in excess of $2 Million, and dozens of others for hundreds of thousands of dollars. Tom was named a Massachusetts “Rising Star” in Plaintiff’s Personal Injury by Boston magazine and Law & Politics in 2013-2017.
Tom’s practice is founded on the core belief that everything begins and ends with the client. No matter how talented a lawyer may be, that lawyer will not achieve any success without great client relationships. Tom makes himself available by phone and email to clients at all times, and encourages every client to reach out any time they have a concern, no matter how small the issue may seem.
Tom prides himself on preparing every case that he handles for trial. While not every case will go to trial, it takes that level or preparation to achieve consistently outstanding results for clients who have suffered a serious loss.
In his free time, Tom enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his kids in sports, playing sports, and watching sports. You may notice a theme there. Tom is just as comfortable talking with a client about last night’s Celtics game as addressing the client’s concern about a complex legal issue.
Prior to joining Mirick O’Connell, Tom focused on catastrophic personal injury cases at the law firm of Heinlein Beeler Mingace & Heineman, P.C.
